Oil Paintings

We have been investing in large bodies of artwork in oil that celebrate the natural landscapes that our world is losing as it experiences rapid development. This body of work, Vanishing Landscapes, includes over one hundred works and involves vanishing landscapes in California and Maine.

For example, the piece shown here, Devil’s Slide Before Construction, shows a section of California Highway 1 that is no longer possible for the public to access as the highway here has been rerouted through a new tunnel.
